When do kids usually stop taking naps? Just curious...because I think we're getting to that point. I think it's too early, but I also don't feel like fighting with him about it. He had no nap today. Yesterday and Saturday he didn't fall asleep until after 4...and he slept for quite a while. I'm thinking about moving bedtime up and then playing the nap by ear. What do you think? It's too early, right? Maybe this is one of those phase things and he's growing or getting ready to do some other wonderful trick (like get potty trained!) and he's too anxious to take naps. Who knows. Speaking of potty training...I think this is the week I'm gonna give it a try. Yesterday, I asked Nate if he had any peas and he said, "Uh Huh...pee..." and walked over to the steps and up to the bathroom. Any suggestions?
In other news, I think Danika is getting more teeth. She's really moody (TGF ELMO!) and just seems bothered. It's not as bad as the first set, but still she's unusually crabby.
We still have runny noses around here - and that's not helping matters. Tomorrow is a busy day. Hubby has a doctor's appointment at 3:30 and we have someone coming to give us a bid on our bathroom around 6:00. I'm also going to try to take Nate out to buy his potty some time between when hubby gets home from his morning hunt and has to go to the doctor's office. This way I can leave Danika with him.
We're having leftovers for dinner tonight ~ and then I have my menu all planned for the rest of the week. I even did my shopping this morning. Now I just need to find time to clean the bathroom a bit...just because it will make me feel better. :)

Hey... I know it may sound funny, but we struggled with potty training, and then it was time to go to ride on "Thomas the Train", and I told T that you had to be able to use the potty to be able to ride Thomas- and that did the trick! It finally clicked... all I am saying is for each child it is different, and know that before you go into this. For some it is very simple, others I know are struggling, but eventually it will come around! Love you girl!
Looking forward to learning through you
