What now?

Let me start by saying my son has 4 stickers on his Potty Chart. Which means he has used his potty 4 times today. :) Whoo Hoo! I'd post a pic but then I read the following and just don't know what to do anymore.

I read RSM's post last night and changed my Flickr account to friends and family only...so if you want to be added just let me know. I'm not sure if you need to have an account or not. I'll also be using Snapfish for those of you who have an account there and would want to see pics of my little darlings.

I have a lot to say about the whole thing ~ but before I do PLEASE no lectures...I don't want to hear, "That's why I don't put pics of my kids online" or "I knew that it wasn't a good idea". Yeah for you if you aren't worried about it...I am. Yes, it's my fault because I uploaded every single picture that is on my Flickr account. Yes, I know that there are sick sick people out there and that I am responsible for the safety and well being of my children. I would do anything in my power to keep my kids safe. There are those that argue that there is no harm done in stealing pictures...but I disagree.

The pictures I take of my children are special to me. They are mine and I like sharing them with my family and friends who do not live close enough to see my kids. That is why I have a Flickr account and why I put pictures on my blog. My grandmother told me the other day that she goes to my site to look at pics of the kids for fun when she has the time. I love that she can do that. Now thanks to the perverts of the world I'm not sure she will be able to...after all, I don't think she has a Flickr account or that she will want to sign up for one.

My husband says I shouldn't worry about it because I have enough to worry about...but I am worried. Maybe he's right...but I'm still going to take all the precautions I can to make sure that my kids aren't being "stolen" online. I've thought about making my blog an invite only blog for a while now...what do you think? I mean you can never be too safe, right? I don't know why I don't just do it...I guess because I like meeting new people...but is that really worth it? I'm going to think about it some more and make a decision...I'll let you know that way if you want to be invited I can add you.

Jerry's right...I do have more important things to worry about ~ this stinks.
