I had been on the fence about what to do with my blog: make it private vs. keep it public. Then I received a comment on my last entry that was the most bizarre thing I've ever read. It had nothing to do with my post and used language that I don't appreciate at all. My husband says that it was just some solicitation from some website. He's probably right, but it's the little push I needed to make my decision.
I'm going to take a week off of blogging and leave this post here - Starting next Sunday or Monday (Oct. 14/15), my blog will be private. If you would like to be able to still view it you can send me your e-mail address and I'll add it to the list of people able to view it.
It's not so much that I was upset by the comment - it's just the fact that someone with those views could look at pictures of my children and read stories about their innocence and then make that post. It's more about my kids than it is about me...It's just one more thing I feel I can do to protect them.
